While at Baseline Res this morning trying to find the Red-throated Loon, which I did not see, I wandered down to Dry Creek Trailhead just east of Baseline Res on Baseline Rd: across the road, north of Baseline, sitting in a giant cottonwood tree was a pair of Ferruginous Hawks.
