This afternoon, I went to Chatfield and had 4 Common Loons and a Surf Scoter. The Scoter was initially seen north of the sandspit and then working his way to the handicapped fishing area and back toward the sandspit. Photos of the Surf Scoter can be seen in the rare to uncommon gallery below.
