This afternoon I again saw the Harlan's Hawk that has been hanging around
the MacKenzie Ave area on the east side of Canon City. It continues to
behave very shyly even more so than usual Red-tailed Hawk. It was again
around the fields adjacent to the access road into the Canon City Riverwalk
from MacKenzie Ave.

I found 2 Lesser Goldfinch at a feeder in a private yard in Canon City
today, both were adult male western sub-species (ie greenback)

While looking unsuccessfully for the Worm-eating Warbler I first heard then
saw a Spotted Towhee, an uncommon species here.
