A shrike came in and chased the redpolls away. While trying unsuccessfully to refind them Judie Wright and I saw a male and two female Rusty Blackbirds in the Matthews-Reeeser Sanctuary feeding along the shore near the outlet of power plant. I should add the they have dropped the water level in Lake Estes drastically over the last two days. This has produced a great influx in the numbers of water fowl and gulls on the lake.
