As I was writing this, Steve's email came in, he captured my thoughts on the gulls and jaeger.
I was not able to relocate the Harris Sparrow near Kingfisher lot. An adult Bald Eagle was present yesterday around the heronry overlook, and a Northern Shrike made a quick pass across the entrance to the fisherman's pier. Lots of Robins about. Not a bird, but if you're at Chatfield, check out the lone cottonwood that sits between the two roads to plum creek. It contained an adult porcupine on Saturday and Sunday. I've seen them in these cottonwoods before, but not for a few years.
