As I was writing this, Steve's email came in, he captured my thoughts on the 
gulls and jaeger.

I was not able to relocate the Harris Sparrow near Kingfisher lot.   An adult 
Bald Eagle was present yesterday around the heronry overlook, and a Northern 
Shrike made a quick pass across the entrance to the fisherman's pier.  Lots of 
Robins about.

Not a bird, but if you're at Chatfield, check out the lone cottonwood that sits 
between the two roads to plum creek.  It contained an adult porcupine on 
Saturday and Sunday.  I've seen them in these cottonwoods before, but not for a 
few years.
