Hi COBirders,

Just had a quick visit by a gray, hatch-year Northern Shrike in my yard, at 
10:30.  Not surprisingly, it was the only bird in the back yard at the time.  I 
got several "bad-light" photos, and a good look at its eyering and pale mask.  
It flew off after a couple of minutes - but I'll keep an eye out for it today.

Several years ago I had a young one like this in the yard that watched, then 
dove under my deck, and flew off with a junco in its bill. Too cool.
