This morning (1/6), at about 9am.m. Jeanne and I made our way to Harvest Road
east of Barr Lake. We drove up and down the road for about 20 minutes then
stopped in front of 14141 Harvest. We were soon joined by Kevin Cook and two of
his friends and shortly spotted the adult own in the field behind the house.

We had great views for over 30 minutes before we headed for other sites north
and west of Denver.

If you have not seen one of these gorgeous birds, get up, get out, get going.
Be sure to bring your scope and lots of warm clothes and hot drinks.

Good birding!

Mel and Jeanne Goff
