Fellow Birders,

This morning Rob Raker, Joe Sisler, and myself observed the adult Snowy Owl near 138th and Harvest Road. I believe it was the same bird seen yesterday by Marilyn Rhodes from her description and the fact in was in the same area. On the west side of Harvest Road between 8 and 8:30 we watched the female Snowy fly from a perch on a green utility box (close to the road) on the south side of 138th across the road to the top of the hill on the north side of 138th, where it perched on the ground next to a green & yellow upright post (out in the middle of a field). The bird was still perched there with its' face to the sun when we left.
