Good morning All,

After returning from a trip out of town, I visited the Red Rocks feeders behind the Trading Post this morning. I was joined by Alex Cruz, Jr. and his father. There was a small flock of 15 -20 Rosy- Finches early around 7 - 7:15. Included in the group were mostly Gray- Crowned with a few Hepburn's and 1 or 2 Brown-capped Rosy-Finches. We did not see any Black in the group as they fed on the rock wall and the area below the lower apple tree. The Golden-crowned Sparrow put in an appearance around 7:45 A.M. On the way home I stopped on the backside of Ship Rock (Upper South Parking Lot) and was rewarded with a Northern Shrike.
