As I was driving into Coal Creek Canyon I noticed a couple of bluebirds down on Plainview. I'm 99% certain they were mountain bluebirds (fully blue) but I am 100% certain their were bluebirds. They usually come to Plainview to "stage" and weather the last few storm before heading back up into the mountains. These were the first of the year for me, and I'm glad they make it back "up wind". :-)
