We stopped by Cherry Creek State Park (Arapahoe County) this afternoon. Not a lot of gull diversity (one juvenile Thayer's and 2 adult Herring gulls among a large number of Ring bills), but we did see our first of season single American White Pelican (looking ready for spring) as well as a lone Double Crested Cormorant. Not bad for a day that felt like spring!
