COBirds,

This morning around 10 AM, while walking at Pella Crossing near Hygiene, I
spotted a flock of 38 Sandhill Cranes overhead, drifting north. Over on the
western unit near St. Vrain Creek there were about a dozen newly arrived
Great Blue Herons at the small rookery there and one of the nests was
occupied (part of the 'occupy' movement?) by a Great Horned Owl. In the
same area there was also a lone Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler. It's
beginning to look a lot like migration.
