My
name is Lionel, from Lyon in France.

I'm
from the french birds protection association LPO (linked to Birdlife
organization) : http://www.lpo.fr/

I
have been in touch with Jim BEATTY who gave me this email adress to find a
contact. Thank you very much to him. Thanks also to Todd DEININGER who allows
me
for connection.

I
will be in Colorado from the 1st to the 04th of august this year. More
precisely
in the Rocky National Mountain Park, close to Denver.

I
would like to share some hours early in the morning with an ornithologist to
see local birds the 02, the 03 or the 04 of august (even if this is for two
dates...).

I
have already been in Utah, Wyoming en South Dakota in 2010 (It was very nice,
as
well as the people). I have seen a lof of interesting birds in the national
park
of Grand Teton and Yellowstone where I shared time with the Yellowstone
association. In the Grand Teton national park I have been face to face during
many seconds with a black chinned hummingbird : just over my noise... Great
experience. I have seen around 40 species. All of them were new for me because
I was not gone overseas before. I will have my Leica (10x25) with me. They are
really efficient (I can't come with my binoculars because after we are going in
many others places after the co RMNP).

Hope
I could be able to find somebody. If it is not possible and if you could give
me
some interesting places and/or recommandations I will be happy (no
discrimination : all species are welcome !).

Birds
regards

Lionel,
