On Monday, there were about 100 or more 
Franklin Gulls at  Home Lake, some on the water but more in the air, pursuing a 
hatch of insects (too tiny to see).
No shorebirds or wading birds.
Western Grebes in greatly reduced numbers.
3 Common Mergansers in adjacent canal.
Plenty of Am. Coots, of course.
No Bald Eagle nearby.
What a difference a day makes!
