Late report-I found one each/first of the year Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Indigo and Lazuli Buntings foraging in the same area of the Canon City Riverwalk last Friday. I also found my first of the year Black-chinned Hummingbird on the Riverwalk same day. I posted photos of the Rose-breasted Grosbeak and BC Hummingbird on my Birds and Nature blog<http://BirdsAndNature.blogspot.com> .
Yesterday and today I have had a Lazuli Bunting in my yard, often counter-singing with another male located in my neighbor's yards. There appear to be several in and around my yard and neighbors so hope one may establish a territory and find a mate to nest nearby.
