Greetings All,

So, upon reviewing my pics of said Eastern Wood-Pewee (I only got the more
cooperative adult bird on "film"), I must say that a certain level of
uncertainty has crept in. In the field, side-by-side comparison with Western
Wood-Pewee showed birds of equal size. The bill shape from beneath seemed
typical of a pewee. However, in the photos, the primaries are distinctly too
short for a pewee. Yet the bird called like a pewee.

However, these discrepancies, in particular the issue of the primary length, is
sufficient to make me uncertain of the ID.

So, flycatcher spp??? it is for those two birds. Alas. And with such good views
of the adult.
