Thanks to all who attended the fall count at Cherry Creek SP (Arapahoe
County) today. No exotic jaegers this year, but in the morning we had a
Caspian Tern in the southeast corner, who was seen at the end of the day
fishing in the marina area. Sabine's gulls (three juveniles) were in the
middle of the reservoir (aren't they always J), and a Nashville warbler in
the trees by the covered picnic area at the swim beach/Smoky Hill picnic
area. One young birder had also had a chance to actually see his first
Sora!

Next year, plan for the count to last all day. There are more goodies at
Cherry Creek than you can feast your eyes on in just a morning!
