Birders,

I dropped by Last Chance this afternoon about 4:50 to 5:35 and had the
following:

Common Nighthawk (roosting)

Downy Woodpecker - 2

Western Wood-Pewee

House Wren

Brown Thrasher

Yellow-rumped Warbler - 2

American Redstart (juv male?)

Wilson's Warbler - many - at times the ground was jumping

Townsend's Warbler

MacGillivray's Warbler

Chipping Sparrow - 2

Lincoln Sparrow

Vesper Sparrow

Clay-colored Sparrow

Green-tailed Towhee

Western Tanager

House Finch - 20

There was 1 of each unless otherwise indicated. Almost all the action was
around the pond with the Wilson's, Mac's, sparrows and Redstart all being in
the low weeds around the pond with an occasional foray into the trees by the
Wilson's. Almost everyone was busy feeding. Many of the birds I saw only
once and then they disappeared. If the Porto-let is any indication, there
are plenty of flies for them.
