Cobirders: 
 
Friday 10/12/12 was a busy morning banding at Clear Springs Ranch (CSR)*
until the front came in and it was too windy.
We banded 32 new birds of 11 different species.
We had 11 recaptures from earlier this Fall and  We had good recaptures: 2
Gambel’s White-crowned Sparrows, one banded at CSR 10/4/09 and another
10/2/11 and a Song Sparrow banded at CSR 11/1/09.

*Clear Springs Ranch is an area managed by Colorado Springs Utilities, about
10 miles south of Colorado Springs.
Take I25 to exit 123, follow signs to parking lot east of side of freeway.
It is open on a limited basis (walk-in only) to the general public.
