November 19, 2012

Take a break from Thanksgiving preparations, get out of the kitchen and join us
on Wednesday, November 21 for a presentation by Debbie Barnes on the Rio Grande
Birding Festival.

Debbie has just returned from the Rio Grande Birding Festival, at the southern
tip of Texas. Come see her photos and hear about her adventures as she recounts
her experiences at one of the most amazing birding festivals in the country.
After this, you’ll be eager to sign up for next year!

I've been following her posts on Facebook and have seen a sneak preview of
photos! This should be a great presentation.

Aiken Audubon meets at the Division of Wildlife, 4255 Sinton Road, the
classroom entrance at the rear of the building.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with coffee, snacks and socializing. The program begins
at 7 p.m. This is a free event and reservations are not required.

In addition, we will have 2013 "Birds of Colorado" calendars available for a
minimum donation of $12 each (cash or check only please). These beautiful
calendars feature the photographs of Debbie Barnes and Leslie Holzmann.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!

Christine A. Bucher
President, Aiken Audubon Society
