Hi all
Had a great day on "the hill" today. Jenny and Ben from DC joined me on the Free Bird Tour. The weather was idyllic, sunny, almost no wind.. Birds on the hill included 40 Brown-capped Rosy-Finches 10 Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches of interior and coastal forms plus Red-breasted Nuthatch Gray Jay Mountain Chickadees Ravens Yesterday a Pine Grosbeak visited the Sam's Knob feeder Better still was to learn that Jenny and Ben whilst out hiking had seen a Northern Pygmy Owl "last week" - sorry not sure of exact date, along the "Ditch Trail" at Snowmass, near to the Campground ski-run. Fill up them bird-feeders - there's a snowstorm-a-coming Next free bird tour is next Wednesday, 17th Jan.. email me off list if you are interested. You'll need a foot passenger pass $29 +$5 refundable, or a ski-pass.. Best regards Dick Filby -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
