Hi Cobirders. The year is marching right along! March came in like a lamb for a couple days then lambasted us with a storm that rushed on with strong winds and
dumped lots of snow on the plains as it roared on to the Jersey shore.

Thursday it was summer in March. Temperature here in the sixties with only occasional breezes. In afternoon I saw first Robin checking out the yard I am sure it
is returning to set up territory.

Today still warm. About 8 AM there was a Spotted Towhee in the Chokecherry. A species I rarely get here. Also White-crowned Sparrow, 5 types of Juncos, and the Black-capped Chickadees. The lone Red-wing BB came but didn't stay. Flew off to the northeast into the distance.

Warning Daylight Saving time is back Sunday and then only ten days to Vernal Equinox and spring is here.

Keep birding.
