Saw what I think is a Northern Shoveler/Blue-winged Teal Hybrid on Berkeley Lake this morning. Distinctive white crescent at back of an oversized bill. Rufous sides. Green head. I don't have a real camera, but would love confirmation from anyone who can see it or get a photo.
Also some FOS on Berkeley for me: 1 White Pelican, 1 Eared Grebe, 1 Osprey, Wood Duck pair, 2 Snowy Egret, 1 Avocet, 2 Gr. Yellowlegs, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, 1 Western Grebe. Lots of the usual suspects as well. Check eBird if interested. Eric Albright Denver, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
