With the Boulder Bird Club Wednesday Roadrunners, I found a strangely
silent Red-eyed Vireo foraging in the cottonwoods on the west side of the
Plooster Path (the small loop just across the first bridge and before the
main bridge) at the start of the South Mesa Trail just north of the parking
area, Eldorado Springs road. There were many Chats and Lazuli Buntings
present as well. The birds are starting to have normal numbers as the tiny
leaves emerge on the shrubs and trees.
