Hi Colorado Birders:
My wife and I will be visiting CO next month (Aug. 20 – 27) and we will be staying on the west side of RMNP (Grandby). We are looking for someone to guide us for a full day or possibly 2 days, and of course, for a fee. It has been over 10 years since we were in CO birding. My present motivation is that I am in the middle of an ABA area photo Big Year that now stands at 507: http://www.flickr.com/photos/isaaccsanchez/sets/72157632513641635/ I have a target list of about 20 birds that we wish to see and hopefully photograph. My top 3 targets are Williamson’s and Red-naped Sapsuckers and White-tailed Ptarmigan, which are RMNP birds. We are willing to travel up to 3 hours one way from Grandby to see other targets, such as Black Swift and Mountain Plover. Hoping to hear from someone, Isaac Sanchez Austin, TX BTW, I see that there is interest on this board in the Rufous-necked Wood-Rail in NM. I was lucky to get some low-resolution photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/isaaccsanchez/sets/72157634542112594/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
