Dear COBIRDS Friends:
An imprint female American kestrel wearing jesses escaped from Wild Wings
Environmental Education this morning (Fri, 9/6) at approximately 10:00 AM. She
was last seen heading to Clarkson Park, just northeast of the intersection of
Dry Creek and Clarkson. She is fully-flighted and will likely be hiding in a
tree today, but getting hungry by this evening.
If you spot a female kestrel with one or more straps hanging down from her legs
(she may look like she is carrying a tiny snake if in flight), please call
Deanna Curtis, the Wild Wings Executive Director at (303) 250-8934 (cell).
Many thanks for the extra eyes and ears.
