Chris Knight and I saw one Pacific Loon off Sailboard launching area at Pueblo Reservoir, and three Common Loons on Pueblo Reservoir.
Then, Chris, Robb Hinds, and I saw a winter plumage male Rusty Blackbird, a "Mexican" type duck, an immature Black-crowned Night-Heron, and heard the Gray Catbird and a Say's Phoebe, all near the footbridge, that goes from Snakeskin Picnic Area to the Rock Canyon Swim Beach pond. After that, Chris and I were able to see the adult Great Black-backed Gull at the South Shore Marina tires at Pueblo Reservoir. Then, Chris and I, rejoined Robb Hinds, and saw Pearle and Clif, and we all saw a TENNESSEE WARBLER, in the tall pines, north of the Administration Building, just east of the pond in Pueblo City Park. The bird was with a small flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Earlier in the morning, Mark and Barb Yaeger saw an adult Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in the NE portion of Pueblo City Park. The large number of Pygmy Nuthatches continue in City Park as well. After lunch, Chris and I went over to the Valco Ponds parking lot, and birded a little to east of there, in-between the two ponds, where we saw a Common Yellowthroat. Right below the dam, on the south side of the river, Chris and I saw a Say's Phoebe and a Rock Wren.
