Today, in Denver County I saw one, Lesser Black-backed Gull, from the fence,
[which borders Marston Reservoir on the west side]. The water has dropped some
in Marston. If you look from the west fence, next to the road, you will see a
sand spit[this spit has been under water for about 6 weeks]. One Herring Gull
and many Ring-billed Gulls were present, with the Lesser Black-backed Gull
bobbing in the water next to the spit.

I could find no Loons at Marston today, but lot's of Mergansers, including 14
Red-breasted Mergansers and Western Grebes.

Happy Birding !
