After reading Chris's post I checked out the lake tonight from the east side
[Bow Mar Dr]. I saw 5 Marbled Godwits at the NE corner. There were 16, Horned
Grebes, 18, Western Grebes, 12, Lesser Scaup, many Northern Shoveler, Gadwall,
and Green-winged Teal. California Gulls were copulating as Franklin's Gulls
flew north of them. I'm not sure what was on the western side of the lake since
I did not visit that area.
