ADAMS COUNTY:
--2 ad m Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Kibbe on the South Platte
River near the teal water tank S of 88th on December 3 and Gilbert reported
4 Barrow's Goldeneyes near the water tank on December 3.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--A  Prothonotary Warbler was reported by Hudak at Centennial Park on
November 22.   On December 3, Hundertmark and Driscoll reported that the
Prothonotary Warbler continues at Centennial Park.
--A 1st-cyc Glaucous Gull was reported by Righter at Cherry Creek Reservoir
on December 1.
--A GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL was reported by Mlodinow at Aurora Reservoir on
November 24, and refound by Tina Jones on December 1.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--An ad TUNDRA SWAN was reported by Thompson at Walden Ponds in Boulder on
November 12 and November 15. On November 29,  Floyd reported a TUNDRA SWAN
and Swamp Sparrow at Cottonwood Marsh.
--An Ovenbird was reported by Schmoker in his backyard in Longmont on
November 21 thru December 1.  If you would like to try to see it, call Bill
at 720-201-5749 for update and directions.
--A Long-tailed Duck and Lesser Black-backed Gull were reported by Kaempfer
at McIntosh Lake on November 29.  On November 29, Floyd reported ad
Thayer's Gull , 1-st cyc Lesser Black-backed Gull and m Barrow's Goldeneye
at McIntosh Lake.  On November 30, Gent reported f Long-tailed Duck and m
Barrow's Goldeneye at McIntosh.  On December 1, Guarente reported 3 f
Barrow's Goldeneyes at McIntosh Lake.
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Floyd at Panama Reservoir on November
29. On December 1, Hundertmark refound Red-necked Grebe at Panama Reservoir.
--A Scoter spec was reported by Floyd at the Valmont Reservoir complex on
November 29.
--At Terry Lake on December 4, Mlodinow reported Lesser Black-backed Gull
and Thayer's Gull.

DELTA COUNTY:
--2 Swamp Sparrows were reported by Henwood at Sweitzer Lake SP on November
29.

DENVER COUNTY:
--A f Barrow's Goldeneye was reported by Rurik at Ferril Lake in Denver
City Park on December 2.

EAGLE COUNTY:
--Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Glaser on the Frying Pan River at
Seven Castles just past Toner Creek (5-7 miles from Basalt) and at Knight
Road on November 29.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--On December 2, Hodges found a f Rusty Blackbird at Bear Creek Regional
Park in Colorado Springs and on December 3 Stuart refound the bird.
--A Winter Wren was reported by Leppek at Fountain Creek Regional Park on
December 3.

FREMONT COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Peterson at Florence River Park on
November 30.

GARFIELD COUNTY:
--2 m Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Boyd at Rifle Gap Reservoir on
November 29.

GRAND COUNTY:
--A Long-tailed Duck was reported by Hundertmark at Lake Granby on November
30.
--47 Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Hundertmark at Shadow
Mountain/Grand Lake on November 30.

HUERFANO COUNTY:
--3 TRUMPETER SWANS were reported by Rich Miller at Lake Maria on November
29.  Lake Maria is east of Walsenberg on CO 10.
--At Lake Martin in Lathrop SP, Rich Miller reported Red-necked Grebe and
single male Barrow's Goldeneye on November 29.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--A Swamp Sparrow was reported by Suddjian in a bulrush patch at Johnson
Reservoir at Clement Park on December 2.
--2 Black Rosy-Finches were reported by Chavez at Red Rocks Trading Post on
December 4.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--A BRANT was reported by Scott Baron at Equalizer Lake near Loveland on
 October 25.  Equalizer Lake is near I-25 and US 34, west of Medical Center
of the Rockies.  On December 1, Baron reported that the BRANT continues at
Houts Reservoir.
--At Timnath Reservoir on November 27, Mlodinow reported Long-tailed Duck
and m Barrow's Goldeneye.  On November 30, Shenot reported 2 f type
Long-tailed Ducks and m Barrow's Goldeneye seen from the west side of
Timnath Reservoir.  On December 1, Leatherman reported juv Red-necked
Grebe, Long-tailed Duck, and m Barrow's Goldeneye at Timnath Reservoir.

MESA COUNTY:
--On November 28, Dexter reported a Worm-eating Warbler at the Wilson
Residence in Grand Junction.  Birders
are welcome to try to see the bird at 346 South Redlands Road.  On November
29, Dexter reported the Worm-eating Warbler at 0815 and Henwood reported
the bird at 1505. On November 30, Henwood reported that the Worm-eating
Warbler appeared about 1530 and was active at that time.  On December 1,
Zerbi reported seeing the Worm-eating Warbler in Grand Junction.  Wilson
reported that the Worm-eating Warbler continues in Grand Junction through
December 4.  The best place to look for the bird is from the back deck.
 Drive in slowly and walk slowly to the deck. Do not ring the doorbell
since that will cause the dog to bark.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
--Dexter reported 2 Harris's Sparrows feeding at road edge on Ash Street in
Nucla on December 4.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--At Pueblo Reservoir on December 3, Percival reported 1 ad Lesser
Black-backed Gull and 1 juv Thayer's Gull.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--A f type Indigo Bunting was reported by Leatherman in the NW corner of
the field N of Riverside Cemetery in Lamar on November 30.
--A Red-bellied Woodpecker was reported by Leatherman at Lamar Community
College Woods on November 30.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--Percival reported that the Tennessee Warbler continues at Pueblo City
Park through December 1.

SUMMIT COUNTY:
--36+ Barrow's Goldeneyes were reported by Hundertmark at Blue River Water
Treatment Plant outside of Silverthorne on November 30.

WELD COUNTY:
--A Long-tailed Duck was reported by Kaempfer at Union Reservoir on
November 30.  On December 1, Prather reported m Barrow's Goldeneye and f
Long-tailed Duck at Union Reservoir, and Hundertmark reported 2 Long-tailed
Ducks at Union.  On December 4, Mlodinow reported Long-tailed Duck at Union
Reservoir.
--3 TUNDRA SWANS were reported by Kaempfer at Twin Mounds Reservoir NE of
Berthoud on CR 3 and 5.

DFO Field Trips:
The DFO Field trip for Thursday, December 5 to the Wheat Ridge Green Belt
(Prospect Park Lake) has been
cancelled.

The DFO Field trip for Sunday, December 8 will be to Cherry Creek SP
Wetlands Loop led by Karen von Saltz (cell 303-941-4881).  Meet the leader
at 0900 at the Prairie Loop lot in Cherry Creek SP.  From either entrance
follow Lake View Rd to the lot at the south rim of the reservoir.  A parks
pass or day pass is required.  This half day walk passes through most of
the important habitats of the park in a distance of about 4 miles.
Trails may be slippery so wear boots.  Bring water and snacks; lunch is
optional.  Beginning birders are welcome.  Co--sponsored by Denver Audubon
Society.
