This morning about 7AM before sunrise there were a dozen Bushtits in the Chokecherry and 2 of them in the Sunflower feeder round cage. They were all fluffed up in the 18 o f cold with tiny beaks and long narrow tails twittering. Plumage details not showing mostly back lighted.
Last week Thursday I had 4 Bluejays at once show up. First time I had seen that many in the yard at once. Usually 1 or 2 come to check on unsalted roasted peanuts in the shell I throw out on the patio 3 or 4 now 5 every day ration. In the last few years they would show up once or twice a month fall to Spring. Before that not at all. I wish you all great birds for the new ear.
