Hello, Birders.
As we all know, COBirds is one of the most important resources brought to you 
by Colorado Field Ornithologists (CFO). Long live COBirds! 
Another great resource is the CFO group page on Facebook. It's a bit different 
from COBirds. Not better, not worse, just different. Many of the photos posted 
there are fantastic--truly, publication-quality stuff. Lots of good info, too, 
on recent bird sightings; and useful discussions about where to find birds. I 
especially like the conversations about bird ID, typically starting off when 
somebody posts a photo of a mystery bird.
The tone and tenor of CFO's Facebook group is much the same as what we have 
here on COBirds: collegial, gracious, and basically just fired up about all the 
great birds, habitats, and birders in Colorado. Check out CFO's group page on
