First, a "billion" Horned Larks littering Weld CR (WCR) 100 between WCR 27
and 23. WCR 100 was covered with Horned Larks for about a one mile stretch
(impressive!). There were numerous Lapland Longspurs heard/seen in
flight--none on the road as far as I could tell--was trying to get pix of
them.

Golden Eagle on nest in Wellington.

Windsor Lake had 100s of Common Mergansers.

Drake Lake had the Lesser Black-backed Gull (ad) hanging out with a bunch
of Ring-billeds on ice shelf--open water only along western shore.
