I visited several spots around Pueblo today.  I found 71 species of birds.
Highlights follow:

Pueblo Reservoir:
Common Loon - 2 (1 alternate and 1 basic) off Sailboard launching Area
Herring Gull - 1 immature

Valco Ponds:
Eastern Phoebe - 1 west of Valco Ponds parking lot
Mountain Chickadee - 1 west of Valco Ponds parking lot

Rock Canyon:
House Wren - 1 singing (my first of the spring)
Eastern Phoebe - 2 (east end of Osprey Picnic Area -- this is a new location,
unless this is the pair from the Valco Bridge, there are now 7 Eastern Phoebes
around Pueblo, that I know of!
Snowy Egret - 1 (standing in a puddle in the road, by the Rock Canyon Swim
Beach parking lot)
four species of swallows

Pueblo City Park:
Pygmy Nuthatch - 2
Red-breasted Nuthatch - 1
Townsend's Solitaire - 1

Cattail Crossing pond in Pueblo West:
Snowy Egret - 1 (found by Margie Joy)
Canvasback - 2

Yellow-rumped Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets were singing at a few of these
locations as well.
