Hi everyone,

This is my CObirds debut post! My name is Anna Harris, I was hired
seasonally by the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory to run the Fort Collins
Banding Station.

Thought I'd take a minute to introduce the Fort Collins banding station
located in Fort Collins (Larimer County) on the Poudre bike path bordering
Lee Martinez Park and the Museum of Discovery (Google
Map<https://www.google.com/maps/place/Hickory+Trail/@40.5937882,-105.0785108,18z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x87694a89d07772eb:0x5fc981a8eb3edac4>
 location).

This is the second season of the banding station; we started last fall with
3-4 weeks of banding and have been open this spring since April 24th. We
have 4-5 nets open each day, and hope to expand this project in the coming
years. Just found out today we'll be staying open until the end of May!!
You can find us on the trail banding birds Tues - Sat 7-11am weather
permitting.

It seems as though the migrants are just starting to pick up in this area!
