Lots of birds at Manitou Lake and along Trout Creek lately as with everywhere else in Colorado right now.
Had a dowitcher today that I believe to be Long-billed for 2 reasons: 1) most likely dowitcher in spring migration in CO, and 2) a couple scapulars with white fringe. Click here for dowitcher photos <https://www.flickr.com/photos/jjjones3860/sets/72157644709832792/> . Would like to hear what others familiar with this species think. I only have one other sighting of Long-billed Dowitcher at Manitou Lake in 26 years and no Short-billed.
