Hi All:

Resending this as I realize last weekend was a huge birding weekend in
Colorado and lots of emails on CoBirds.

I would really like some feedback on this dowitcher if anyone has any. Click

On another note, I tied my BIG DAY record at Manitou Lake on Sunday - 56
species. The former Big Day, was on the same date (May 18th) in 2010. 42
species in common between the two years, and 14 different species.

Thanks

Subject: [cobirds] Dowitcher ID assistance - Teller County

Lots of birds at Manitou Lake and along Trout Creek lately as with
everywhere else in Colorado right now.

Had a dowitcher today that I believe to be Long-billed for 2 reasons: 1)
most likely dowitcher in spring migration in CO, and 2) a couple scapulars
with white fringe.

Would like to hear what others familiar with this species think. I only have
one other sighting of Long-billed Dowitcher at Manitou Lake in 26 years and
no Short-billed.

Thanks
