Greetings All
A quick summary before bed Nee So Pah Reservoir had a Thayer's and a Mew Gull today, both juvs (well, actually, Mew transitioning from juv to first winter) + a tardy BW Teal Neegronda and Neenoshe were dead Jett Reservoir had a moderate amount of ducks, but nothing of true note John Martin had 5000+ plus ducks of the usual sorts and 10 shorebirds highlighted by a Red Phalarope nearly eaten by a Prairie Falcon (and then decided to depart) a late Wilson's Phalarope 4 Lesser and >20 Greater yellowlegs >200 Least Sands >100 LB Dows 1 Dunlin >100 Am Avocet 2 Pecs and 7 or so Killdeer Also, apparently unprecedented for November was a raft of 885 Franklin's Gulls 2 Common Loons were on the water, but no RN Grebe or rarer loons A Vesper Sparrow - a tad late - was along one of the many roads Add onto to that nearly 1000 Western Grebes and it was quite a party out there. I wish that I knew what I looked over for I most certainly missed some stuff there Cheers Steve Mlodinow Longmont CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
