14 observers participated in a Denver Field Ornithologists field trip to Barr Lake State Park below the dam. At least 7 Snow Geese were seen among the thousands of Canada and Cackling Geese. Highlight of the day was a lone American White Pelican flying toward the lake. 22 or more Bald Eagles were visible from the dam as were hundreds of distant Common Mergansers. here's the list for the morning:
