I have been in contact with Timnath town officials asking questions and raising
concerns about the new policy. I'm hoping that if the Colorado birding
community is RESPECTFUL of the town's rules and authority we will be able to
get this misguided policy changed to allow birders access.

PLEASE - no nasty messages to town officials and no confrontations with
employees who try to enforce it.

We need to demonstrate to Timnath that they have a property that is very
important and special to birders, and that birders could be an asset rather
than an unwanted intrusion. We may ultimately have to PAY for this privilege
just as town residents (I'm told) are paying for park passes.

Please contact me if you want to strategize on how to get a positive outcome.
(But note I will be out of town all week and slow to respond.)
