BOULDER COUNTY:
--An EASTERN (LILIAN'S) MEADOWLARK has been found by Johanna Beam at
McIntosh Reservoir in the NW corner.  It has
been seen with 2 young.  On July 30, Johanna Beam and Todd Deininger
reported ad EASTERN MEADOWLARK at McIntosh Reservoir.  On August 14, John
Drummond reported 3 EASTERN (Lilian's) MEADOWLARKS (1 ad, 2 juv) at
McIntosh Reservoir.  On August 26, Johanna Beam reported 2 EASTERN
(Lilian's) MEADOWLARKS ( 1 heard, 1 juv seen) at McIntosh Reservoir.  On
August 29, Scott Manwaring reported 1 imm EASTERN MEADOWLARK at McIntosh
Reservoir.  On August 31, Johanna Beam reported that she saw 3 EASTERN
(Lilian's) MEADOWLARKS at McIntosh Reservoir (2 imm, 1 ad).    On September
1, Mark Minner-Lee reported EASTERN MEADOWLARK at McIntosh Reservoir.
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Joyce Takamine along Boulder Creek west of
75th St. on August 11.  On August 23, Todd Deininger reported Black Phoebe
at 75th St and Boulder Creek.
--A Field Sparrow was reported by Mark Minner-Lee at McIntosh Reservoir on
August 24.
--An Ovenbird was reported by David Dowell on Skunk Canyon Trails on
September 2.

CUSTER COUNTY:
--A Carolina Wren was reported by Alec Hopping on CR 395 south of Wetmore
on August 20.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
--Two Eastern Phoebes were reported by Bart Deferme, Kate Frost, and Chuck
Aid on August 26.  One was at the Marina Sandspit at Chatfield and the
other at Plum Creek Delta.
--Two Eastern Phoebes were reported by Joey Kellner and many others on the
Douglas County side of Chatfield on August 29.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--A Buff-breasted Sandpiper was found by Gary Koehn and George Cresswell on
the N shore of the lake at Ramah Reservoir SWA on August 21.  On August 22,
Buff-breasted Sandpiper was reported by Chris Gilbert, Aaron Yappert,
Jonelle Balais, Bruce Cyganowski, Norm Erthal, and Aaron Driscoll at Ramah
Reservoir SWA.  No reported of Buff-breasted Sandpiper on August 23.
--A Snowy Plover was reported by Matt Clark at Ramah Reservoir SWA on
August 21.
--On August 22, Robb Hinds reported Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Rampart
Reservoir.
--On August 31, Steve Brown reported that he banded a m Chestnut-sided
Warbler at Clear Spring Ranch.

GUNNISON COUNTY:
--3 Canyon Wrens were reported by Jason Beason at Chipeta Falls on August
20.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--Two Eastern Phoebes were reported by Cynthia Madsen and Jonelle Balais at
Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield on August 20.
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Mark Chavez at Swim Beach at Chatfield
Sp on August 23.
--A Blue-winged Warbler was reported by Gerald Baines at the east side of
Welchester Tree Grant Park on August 23.
--A m Williamson's Sapsucker was reported by Paula Hansley at Staunton SP
on August 26.
--A Gray Flycatcher was reported by Mark Chavez and Loch Kilpatrick at
Platte River delta at Chatfield SP on August 27.
--3 Red-headed Woodpeckers were reported by Mark Chavez at Stony Pass Road
at Wigwam Creek on August 31.
--2 Black Swifts were reported by David Suddjian flying over Ken Caryl
Valley, Hobgack Trail on August 31.
--An ACORN WOODPECKER was reported by Peggy Corpenny coming to her feeders
in Indian Hills on September 2.  If

KIOWA COUNTY:
--A Glossy Ibis was reported by Jane Stulp and Janeal Thompson at Upper
Queens/Neeshkah reservoir on September 1.

KIT CARSON COUNTY:
--An imm MOURNING WARBLER was reported by Alec Hopping at Flager Reservoir
SWA on August 28.

LA PLATA COUNTY:
--3 Acorn Woodpeckers were reported by David Dunford on Meadow Road in
Rafter J Subdivision on August 21.  On August 30, Eddie Kasper reported 7
Acorn Woodpeckers on Meadow Road in Rafter J Subdivision.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--A Field Sparrow was reported by David Wade at Douglas Reservoir on August
28.

LOGAN COUNTY:
--On August 29 at Tamarack Ranch SWA, Bill Kaempfer reported m Baltimore
Oriole, Philadelphia Vireo, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and Bell's Vireo.
--On August 30 at Northern Sterling Reservoir SP, Kamepfer reported a
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK.

MESA COUNTY:
--At about 8400 Ft between Collbran and Brush Creek, Nic Korte reported
Purple Martins on August 2 and 3.  On August 11, Nic Korte reported that
Purple Martins are using the Collbran area asa staging are for migrations
so can be seen in greater numbers than usual.
On August 23, Nic Korte reported seeing a few Purple Matins above Collbran
 off CR 64.3.
--A Slate-colored Fox Sparrow was reported by Mike Henwood on Pinyon Mesa
above Glade Park on August 20.
--A  Black Phoebe was reported by Mike Henwood on the Gunnison River near
old Black Bridge on August 23.

MORGAN COUNTY:
--On August 31, Ira Sanders reported McCown's Longspur and EASTERN
MEADOWLARK at playas in Morgan County but
did not give more specific details.  Contact him at zroadrunner14 AT
gmail.com for details.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--A Great Crested Flycatcher, Least Flycatcher, and 2 imm Red-headed
Woodpeckers were reported by Dave Leatherman at Riverside Cemetery in Lamar
(Maple St, N end of Town, E of main) on August 24.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--A Bell's Vireo was reported by Brandon Percival at Rock Canyon at Pueblo
Reservoir on August 29.
--A Greater Roadrunner was reported by Tim Leppek at Swallows SWA in Pueblo
Reservoir SP on August 30.

SEDGWICK COUNTY:
--A Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Sue Riffe and Glenn Walbek at
Jumbo Reservoir on August 29.

WELD COUNTY:
--A Caspian Tern was reported by Steve Mlodinow at Firestone Gravel Pits on
July 6.  On August 17, Steve Mlodinow reported 2 Caspian Terns at Firestone
Gravel Pits.
--An immature Little Blue Heron was reported by Carl Starace at Firestone
Gravel Pits on July 24.  On August 12, Al Guarente reported Little Blue
Heron at Firestone Gravel Pits.  On August 23, Todd Deininger reported
Little Blue Heron at Firestone Gravel Pits.
--At Crow Valley Campground on August 22, Gloria Nikolai reported 2 Gray
Flycatchers and Bea Weaver report 1 Gray Flycatcher.  On August 24, Steve
Mlodinow reported Gray Flycatcher at Crow Valley CG.
--On August 23, Gregg Goodrich and Anna troth reported Caspian Tern at St
Vrain SP.
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Steve Mlodinow at Crw Valley CG on
August 26.
--2 Chestnut-collared Longspurs were heard by Mark Miller on CR 75 between
CR 100 and CR 102 on August 29.
--A Chestnut-collared Longspur was reported by Gary Lefko on CR 33 between
CR 100 and CR 98 on September 1.
--At Crow Valley CG on September 2, Steve Mlodinow reported Tennessee
Warbler, Eastern Phoebe, and Baltimore Oriole.

DFO Field Trips:

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, September 5 will be to Cherry Creek SP led
by Mary Keithler (mkeithler AT yahoo.com; 303-771-1421).  Meet at 0800 at
the west marina parking lot.  State Parks pass or day pass required.   Will
carpool to various stops and walk 1-2 miles.  bring binoculars, water,
snacks, sunscreen, and bug repellent.  Scopes are useful.  Please register
online or contact the leader.

The DFO FIeld Trip fo Monday, September 7 will be to Jackson Lake Reservoir
led by Chuck Hundertmark (chundertmark8 AT gmail.com; 303-604-0531).  This
trip is full.
