COBirds, This afternoon 16 January around 12:30pm I heard and then saw a "Myrtle" Yellow-rumped Warbler across the street in my neighbors tree here in east Fort Collins. It was a bit too active and obscured by branches to get a photo before it flew away over several houses and out of sight. Did get solid binocular views and the call matched Myrtle as opposed to Audubon's. I'm 90% sure this is the same bird that I heard two weeks ago that I never could get binocs on, so chances are decent it may stick around long enough for a photo at some point. Not as spectacular as the Yellow-throated Warbler on the other side of town, but still a cool bird for mid-January. This is in the neighborhood on the southwest corner of Drake and Timberline just west of the King Sooper's. Will post again if I see or hear this bird in the future or if I get a photo.
