Had a yellow kingbird this morning in north Lamar (Prowers) I think was
Couch's. Seen for a brief time and then it disappeared.  Yellow-green on
underparts came up to throat and across side of neck to upper back. Back muted
green-gray but not bright green. No white on sides of tail. Tail notched.
Primaries not black but greenish-brown. Bill thick and longer than Western. Few
vocalizations I heard were soft "kit" or "kip", not unlike Western but seemed
quiet and less demonstrative. Will submit report for RC.

Also had an early female Orchard Oriole minutes before the kingbird at the same
location which also seemed on the move and disappeared.

At Lake Hasty (Bent) this afternoon Janeal Thompson and I had an adult Glossy
Ibis on the peninsula, best seen from the swim beach area on the east side.
There were no other ibis present.

The Red-necked Grebe found by Duane was present in the res at the south end of
the dam below the southern observation pull-out on the dam.

The Brown Pelican was still present with White Pelicans on the east end of the
Lake Hasty peninsula at 7pm.
