Considered rare in these parts, was a White-throated Sparrow today at the
"cougar woods" at the north end of the Alamosa Golf Course (Alamosa
County). Other delights included Dusky Flycatcher, Sora and Bullocks
Oriole. Maybe the wave of birds are finally arriving in our cold mountain
valley. 29 degrees this am but I planted tomatoes in the greenhouse anyway!

Bird walk in Alamosa on Saturday and will let you know what we find!
