Hey COBirders, I banded another large Empid flycatcher at Clear Spring Ranch today, and this one was just as consistently measured as the Alder Flyc. I caught the other day, except consistently as Willow Flycatcher. (Photos of both available).
Other than that it was pretty slow, with mostly locally breeding birds caught and banded, or recaptured banded birds. A few Yellow Warblers (many singing), and 4 Com Yellowthroats, YB Chat, thrasher, catbird, a Warbling Vireo (and several singing as well), and a W Wood-Pewee. Think I'm just about done for migration.
