El Paso County Parks is inviting citizens to attend the second Widefield Community Park Master Plan public meeting, which will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 2017, at the Fountain Creek Nature Center. The meeting is scheduled from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please come to the meeting to hear more about the project and voice your opinions about the future of Widefield Community Park, including recommended park and trail improvements, potential upgrades, management, and maintenance. The Fountain Creek Nature Center is located at 320 Pepper Grass Lane in Fountain. Project team members will present maps and site-specific improvement ideas, and recommended future actions for Widefield Community Park.
