Rocky Mountain Wild is hosting Colorado Endangered Species Week, May 14-20 this year. And, we have a Gunnison sage-grouse event scheduled that may be of interest to people:
*Tuesday, May 16, 6:30-8:00 pm* *Stand With Gunny* *Belmar Library, 555 S Allison Parkway, Lakewood, CO* Rocky Mountain Wild and Audubon Society of Greater Denver are partnering to bring you an educational and advocacy night for Gunny sage-grouse! Betsy Neely from The Nature Conservancy will discuss climate change strategies and action for Gunnison sage-grouse. We will also screen a fun locally-made short film about the bird, and present advocacy actions you can take to ensure Gunny’s survival.
