Hey COBirders, After a short hiatus to visit family out-of-state, I was back catching migrants at my Clear Spring Ranch banding station today. Very slow, cold start, but picked up after 9:00. Caught some individual warblers, but there were many high in the cottonwoods after 10:30, especially a flock of mixed Yellow-rumped Warblers. I have been posting all of the banded and sighted birds on Ebird.
Banded today: Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Brown Thrasher Orange-crowned Warbler Yellow Warbler Com Yellowthroat Yellow-rumped Warbler (Myrtle female) Gambell’s White-crowned Sparrows (one recap, banded 10/16) Am Goldfinch pair. Happy Migration, and “May the Fourth…” Steve Brown Colo Spgs -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
