COBirders,

About 35 birders spread-out in 5 teams for the annual FCRP spring count.
Numbers seemed down compared with last week, but some rarities were:

Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Brown Thrasher
Clay-colored Sparrow
Summer Tanager (female right after the official count period; 200 ft down trail
south of large waterfall)

Bald Eagle continues in park (displaced from Big Johnson?)

Baltimore Oriole - not sighted today (to my knowledge)

Cordially,
Steve Getty, Colorado Springs
