 —An Eastern Bluebird was reported at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR by Zach Schiff 
on June 11.

ALAMOSA COUNTY
—A Ladder-backed Woodpecker was reported in Alamosa (37.7372396,-105.5077887) 
by Marshall Iliff on June 15.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--An Indigo Bunting was reported at US County - Watkins 30076-32898 East Quincy 
Avenue-39.638x-104.627 on June 12.
--A Sage Thrasher was reported at E. Weaver Ave by Jared Del Rosso on June 11.

BACA COUNTY:
—2 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers were reported at Campo (37.124x-102.76) by Norman 
Erthal on June 17.
—3 Mississippi Kites were reported at the southern loop of Cottonwood Canyon by 
Kathy Mihm Dunning on June 17.
—2 Mississippi Kites were reported at Springfield City Park by Dave Hawksworth 
on June 11.
—An Olive-sided Flycatcher was reported at Springfield City Park on June 11 by 
Dave Hawksworth on June 11. 

BENT COUNTY:
--A LEAST BITTERN was reported at Ft. Lyon Wildlife Easement by Steve Mlodinow 
on June 10.
--A LEAST BITTERN was reported at the Bent Fort Inn Birding Trail by Steve 
Mlodinow on June 10.

BOULDER COUNTY:
—A Fox Sparrow was reported at Beaver Creek by Dave Hallock on June 16.
—A Black Phoebe was reported at Crane Hollow Road and Ponds (bird was perched 
on wire above creek and close to bridge) by Carl Starace on June 15 and on June 
17.
--A Northern Cardinal was reported at Hawthorn Gulch by Ginny Bergstrom on June 
13 (first reported on June 1).
-- An Eastern Phoebe was perched on a fence above culvert on Rock Creek near 
Coalton Ave.  It was reported by Emil Yappert on June 3 and on June 11.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
—4 Common Goldeneye (2m, 2f) were reported at Sands Lake State Wildlife Area by 
Jeff Guy on June 15.
—A Barrow’s Goldeneye was reported at Sands Lake State Wildlife Area  by Jeff 
Guy on June 15.

CLEAR CREEK:
—An Eared Grebe was reported in the Echo Lake Area by Nathan Senner on June 14.

CROWLEY COUNTY:
--2 Sage Thrashers were reported at Olmec Springs Rd/Ln 7/Ln 9 by Tanja Britton 
on June 13.

DELTA COUNTY:
—2 Yellow-billed Cuckoos were reported at 1016-1098 599 Woods Road in Hotchkiss 
by Andrea Robinsong on June 8.

DOUGLAS COUNTY:
—A Common Goldeneye was reported at Rueder-Hess- Reservoir (on restricted 
access property) on June 15.

EAGLE COUNTY:
--A Fox Sparrow was reported at East Vail Memorial Park area by Anna Edson on 
June 7.
--A Least Flycatcher was reported by JoAnn Riggle on June 7.
EL PASO COUNTY:
—A Hooded Warbler was reported at Bell Grove in Chico Basin Ranch by Paul 
Slingsby on June 15.
-- A Ladder-backed Woodpecker was reported by Monday Birders at Clear Spring  
Ranch on June 12.
--An Ash-throated Flycatcher was reported at Aiken Canyon Preserve by Lynne 
Forrester  on June 10.
--A Mississippi Kite was reported at Adams Open Space in Fountain by David and 
Cheryl Hubbard on June 10.
--Great Crested Flycatcher was reported at Garden of the God’s Park by Walt 
Cochran on June 8.
—2 Ash-throated Flycatchers were reported at Ute Valley Park by David and 
Cheryl Hubbard on June 8; they reported one at same location on June 7.

HUERFANO COUNTY:
--A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported at a private home in La Veta by Polly 
Wren on June 11.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
—A Hooded Warbler was reported at Lair O’ the Bear Park by Linda Chittum on 
June 17.
—A Blackpoll Warbler was reported at Van Bibber Park by Edmond Holrppn June XX? 
--A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported fling between riparian stands at Docman 
Gulch wetlands in southern South Valley Park.  It ended up in the cottonwoods 
along the Swallow Trail by David Suddijian on June 12.
--A Brown Thasher was reported edDat Massey Draw in Ken Carl Valley by David 
Suddijian on June 12.
--A Black Phoebe was reported at Deer Creek Canyon Park by Aaron Shipe on June 
7 and June 9.

KIOWA COUNTY:
--A Caspian Tern was reported at Adobe Creek Reservoir (Blue Lake) by Steve 
Mlodinow on June 10.
--A Black-bellied Plover was reported at Sheridan Lake Area (town and playa) by 
Steve Mlodinow on June 10 and June 17.

LARIMER COUNTY:
—4 Barrow’s Goldeneye were reported at Laramie River Valley (40.8819x-105.9270) 
bi Nicholas Komar on June 17.

—A BAIRD'S SPARROW was reported at  Soapstone Prairie Natural Area by Nick 
Komar on June 10; 2 Baird’s Sparrows were reported by Timothy Guida on June 17 
—A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported at Dixon Reservoir by Amy Davis on June 17.
—A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported at Hidden Valley in Rocky Mountain 
National Park by Annette Mathess on June 17.
--6 McCown's Longspur were reported at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area by Nick 
Komar on June 10; 5 were reported by Timothy Guida  on June 17.  The bird has 
been frequenting the western edge of Soldier Canyon Cove.
—A Sage Thrasher was reported at Laramie River Valley (40 .8819x-105 9270) by 
James Valimont.
—A Snow Goose was reported at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area by Robert Spaul on 
June 14.  Note this is likely an injured bird that was left behind main flock.
--A Least Flycatcher was reported at Devil’s Backbone by Nick Komar on June 9 
and by Annette Mathes and James Vailmont on June 14.
--A Black Phoebe has been Going back and forth between Larimer and Weld County. 
 Please see Weld County for more information.

—A Carolina Wren was reported at Cottonwood Canyon (campground) by Norman 
Erthal on June 17.
—A Mississippi Kite was reported at Cottonwood Canyon (campground) by Norman 
Erthal on June 17.

LOGAN COUNTY:
—A Wood Thrush was reported at Tamarack Ranch State Wildlife Area by Gwen Moore 
on June 10.
--3 Stilt Sandpipers were reported at 5001-5775 County Road 
27,(40.5113,-103.3327) by Amber Carver on June 10; 1 was reported by Alexander 
on June 11.
-- 4 White-rumped Sandpipers were reported at 5001-5775 County Road 27, 
(40.5113x-103.3327) by Amber Carver on June 10.
--A Least Flycatcher was reported at Crook (40.9203x-102.6971) by Augie Kramer 
on June 9.
--A Scott's Oriole was reported at Crook (40.838x-102.81) by Cheri Phillips on 
June 7.
—An EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE was reported at parking area 1 of Tamarack SWA on the 
west side of Hwy 83 by Robert Beauchamp On June 11.

—A Grace’s Warbler was reported at Divide Road/Thimble Point Forest Road #417 
area; found by Mike Henwood on June 16. 
—A Chihuahuan Raven was reported at Colorado National Monument by Roger Massey 
on June 10.

MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
—A Veery was reported at the Van Riper Field House by Andy Boyce on June 15.
--A White-tailed Ptarmigan was reported in San Juan National Forest by Steve 
Russell on June 11.
--A Summer Tanager was reported at Yellowjacket Canyon/G Road by Glenn Walbek 
on June 11.
--7 Lucy's Warblers were reported at Yellowjacket Canyon /G Road by Glenn 
Walbek on June 11.
—A Lucy’s Warbler was reported at McElmo Canyon -Road J by Jan Allen on June 14.
--An Indigo Bunting was reported at -37.221x-108.325 by Glenn Walbek on June 11 
and at McElmo Canyon - Road J Bridge by Jan Allen on June 14.

-- 2 LESSER NIGHTHAWKS were reported  at Nucla Sewage Lagoons by Coen Dexter 
and Brenda Wright on June 7.
--A Gray Flycatcher was reported at Jill's Abode by Janet Thaw on June 6.

OURAY COUNTY:
--A Common Loon was reported at 38.181x-107.744   by Galen Walbek on June 10.

--2 Mississippi Kites were reported at Lamar Community College by Tony

--A Yellow-throated Warbler was reported at 19th & Court Street by Van Truman 
on June 4th and on June 11.
--An Acorn Woodpecker was reported at Pueblo Mountain Park by Paul Hurtado on 
June 5 and by Brandon Percival on June 10.
--An Eastern Bluebird was reported at Doyle Bridge BBS Route by Paul Drummond 
on June 10.
--A Yellow-throated Warbler was reported at Mineral Palace Park by Gregg 
Goodrich and Jane Stulp on June 9.
--A Grace's Warbler was reported at Pueblo Mountain Park by Brandon Percival on 
June 10.

--A Baltimore Oriole was reported at Prewitt Reservoir by Angie Kramer on June 
6.

WELD COUNTY:
—A Northern Bobwhite was reported near Weld CR 61 and the South Platte by 
GeneRutherford on June 17.
—A Stilt Sandpiper was reported at Beebe Draw by Steven Mlodinow on June 16.
—2 Snowy Plovers were reported at Union Reservoir by Steve Mlodinow on June 9; 
and by Darla Anderson on June 10.
—Updated status of Black Phoebe by Nicholas Komar on June 6:
The territorial Black Phoebe continued singing this morning between 5:30 AM and 
7 AM on both sides of the CR13 bridge over the Cache La Poudre River, 
straddling the border between Larimer and Weld Counties. It spent the first 
hour perched atop a small dead tree in Larimer, and then flew to a small dead 
tree in Weld, always on the south bank. Also of interest was an incessantly 
singing Red-eyed Vireo about a half mile west of the bridge, heard from the 
paved Poudre River Trail.
